The project is an existing building that required some renovations and improvements. With our main focus on creating two separate duplex apartment units and using the existing conditions to our benefit.

A third floor was added, and the cellar had some changes made to it. Two window wells will be constructed to ensure ventilation and natural light reaches the cellar, while also providing an escape route.

Windows placement and sizing is changed, due to change of use in the interior spaces and their arrangement

An additional staircase is added to allow access from the other direction of the lot.
